Critical thinking and creative thinking are important for the learner as well as for the whole organisation who plan to develop their career in the 21st-century workplace.  Therefore while working as a team for an individual organisation there will arise knowledge gaps between creative and critical thinking. According to Epstein et al. (2018),  Knowledge gaps can be recognised by the experts and only and in an organisation, knowledge gaps act like barriers that block the rods for achieving the success of the chosen organisation.

Two critical and creative thinking knowledge gaps for the  organisation

1.     Companies are not yet meeting the needs for creativity

One of the most recognisable knowledge gaps in an organisation is that most of the organisation is not able to meet the needs for creativity. As per the research, it seems that creativity is ine of the major aspects in order to achieve the organisational goal. Despite of this fact, there are too many institutions or companies that are not able to implement it at the workplace.

2.               The  responsibility of learning should be on the institution as well as the individual person

Two critical and creative thinking knowledge gaps for one individual team member

1.     The major gap is the employees who are unaware of the evaluation steps.

2.     An individual  person needs to manage to enhance b the skill set  in order to create the professional development plan for themself

 Organisation’s approach to critical thinking

These are some of the skills which will identify in order to retain the ability to think critically and share creativity.According to Khalid et al. (2020),  Therefore the main approach to critical thinking by the organisation in order to achieve the skill

·        Observation

·        Analysis

·        Interpretation

·        Reflection

·        Evaluation

·        Inference

·        Explanation

·        Problem-solving

·        Decision making

Workplace problems

1.     Egocentric nature

2.     Group discussion

3.     Drone mentality

4.     Biased nature f the chosen organisation

5.     Work pressure

6.     Difficulties in the communication in diverse teams

Description of Problem

The egocentric nature of a person can be arising huge issues at the workplace of the organisation. Due to this nature, a person has neither the ability to understand another persons view or opinion. The process is presenting cognitive bias therefore, the issues have been arising in the group discussion. Communication is difficult is the teams of diversified and remote maintenance.

Safe processes

Use the work done in Section 1 of your Project Portfolio and the knowledge you’ve gained from the team/individual meeting(s) to develop at least two processes that create a safe environment for critical and creative thinking.

For each process, include:

·          a description of the process

·          how the process supports a safe critical and creative critical thinking environment.

·          description of at least three sources of information related to the process

·          resources required for the process to be implemented

·          any relevant legislative requirements.

Attach proof of the developed processes and information sources to this section of the portfolio.

Safe Process

Workshop

Maintaining workplace hygiene

Description

A safe environment of critical and creative thinking is promoting the workshops or attending more and more workshops to enhance the knowledge of critical and creative thinking. According to Welink et al. (2018), Workshops bring the people closer through the same mission and they also connect with each other by attending and trusting the workshop.  Along with this maintaining proper hygiene in the workplace is also counted in the safe process.

Support

A well built creative workshop will always support critical thinking in every aspect. Social awareness  always  helps to maintain the proper hygiene in the workplace

Sources of Information

1.     Journal

2.     New articles

3.     Books related to creative and critical thinking.

Resources

·        Promotes and interact with the learners to enhance the communication skill

·        Used the real-life problem

·        Allows the students for think  practices

Legislative Requirements

Discrimination Act and National privacy principles can be included under legislative requirements.

Plan learning opportunities

Use the work done in Section 1 of our Project Portfolio and the knowledge you’ve gained from the team/individual meeting(s) to plan one formal and one informal learning opportunity to address the identified knowledge gaps.

For both the formal and informal learning opportunity, include:

·          a description of how learning will take

·          who the learning opportunity is aimed at (e.g. team or individual).

·          how the opportunity complies with organisational and legislative requirements

·          reason for choosing the approach

·          how you will collect feedback.

Learning Opportunities

Description

The informal learning opportunity refers the that, the process of learning without having the proper structure. Here,  the classroom does not have a learning environment too.

Aim

The main approach of informal learning is that to enhance own skills by oneself, According to Jin et al. (2019),  in this process a learner has been reading books,  watching videos, reading articles and journals.

Compliances

The process does not require any kinds of legal statements as it is not a structured learning process. the process is completely based on the informal way of learning.

Justification

The main reason is the benefits and positive results in developing critical thinking.

Collection of Feedback

The online platform is one of the best ways to collect feedback from the learner who is choosing the informal learning methods to gain the opportunities of enhancing creative thinking.

Application

Plan one opportunity for team member(s) to apply their critical thinking skills to address the workplace problem chosenat the team meeting.

Include:

·          who will participate in the problem-solving process (i.e. which team members?)

·          which critical thinking skills and techniques will be applied by the team member(s)

·          how you will give feedback on the performance of their task

·          how you will collect feedback regarding the opportunity you provided.

Application

Participation

The students from the different classes will participate in the problem-solving process

Skill Application

The team members will apply their technical skills as well as reasoning skills to solve the problems.

Feedback

The performance of their tasks is completely based on the creativity thet show in their task. Therefore, their mask will be given as per their creativeness of solving the problems.

Collecting Feedback

The survey is one of the best ways to collect feedback from the students.

Section 3: Monitor and improve critical thinking practices

Learning opportunities reflection

Summarise the outcomes of the formal and informal learning opportunities you facilitated, including:

·          feedback received from team member(s)

·          what you did well

·          what should be improved

Attach proof of how you facilitatedthe learning opportunities (e.g. video, screen recording of virtual meeting, emails with instructionsetc) to this section of the portfolio (if not already viewed in person by your assessor).

Summarizing Outcomes of Formal and Informal Learning

There are several outcomes that impacted the performances of the employees as well as the company.

According to the team members, both formal and informal education is important for personal and professional development. Formal learning included the learning schools, colleges, and different couches and practices while informal learning allows to learn at the own pace of the students. The team members were benefited from both the learning methods (Mpungose, 2020). According to them, informal learning gave them a better understanding of the subjects.

We have started a campaign about the training of critical thinking and implementation of them in real problems. In addition to that, instructors are needed to train them.

In the total process of the campaign, there are some gaps that must be mitigated immediately. The team members are performing very well but the learning speed needs to be enhanced. In doing so, the use of technologies must be increased.

Application reflection

Summarise the outcomes of the application opportunity you provided to team member(s), including:

·          feedback given to team member(s)

·          additional support required for teams and individuals

·          feedback received from team member(s)

·          what worked well

·          what should be improved

Attach proof of the application opportunities you facilitated (e.g. video, screenshot of social media post etc) to this section of the portfolio (if not already viewed in person by your assessor).

Outcomes of Opportunity to Team members

In order to produce a better result, I have given some advice and feedback to the team members. The advice included the communication between the team members for better understanding, going for both formal and informal learning to get the whole idea of the learning opportunities, better use of technologies to upgrade themselves with time.

Additional support for the teams and the individuals included the use of different devices  that were required to meet the goals (Renatovna, 2019). In addition to that, the team members and the individuals were provided with all the necessary equipment for the accomplishment of the project.

The feedbacks of the team members helped the company to plan further. According to the team members, informal learning provided them with better outcomes than formal learning as they could access them at their own pace.

  • the team members and the individuals were provided with all the necessary equipment for the accomplishment of the project. This io one of the best opportunities to work within a team in order to achieve the organisational goal

It is the strategy that leads their employees to work in a manner to satisfy the goal of the company.

·        The berries which arise during the organisational workforces should be improved. The leader should have been taking steps against the arrogant behaviours of the employees. The l;aider should also hace improves thye leadership quality in order to achieve the organisational goal.

Recommendations

Develop recommendations for improvement in future learning.

Include:

·          a list of two recommendations improvements to learning opportunities

·          development of at least one recommendation to be implemented in the future

·          resources required for the development of the recommendation

·          how the recommendationadheres to explicit organisational policies

·          how the recommendation adheres to implicit organisational policies

·          how the recommendationadheres to legislative requirements

Attach proof of the developed recommendation (e.g.plan for more application opportunities) to this section of your project portfolio.

Recommendation

recommendations improvements to learning opportunities

1.     Reducing the cost estimation is one of the best ways to encode the formal learning opportunities

2.     Encouraging learners to learn after the formal course.

recommendation to be implemented in the future

Reducing the cost of education will be always been an advantage for the students who are belonging to poorer families. According to Xia (2019), The children who belong to the migrant workers do even get the opportunities to learn in the government schools therefore, the government also should have to take action against it.

resources required for the development

Social awareness is always left a hide positive impact on improving the learning opportunities for the students who are completely unable to learn in a formal way. That child at least should have retained the permission and opportunities  od learning

Recommendation adheres to explicit organisational policies

All the recommendation should be maintained the organisational policies

recommendation adheres to implicit organisational policies

Recimendsationl plan will be created as per to implicit organisational policies
