● Gibbs reflective model will follow to define the research study
● This reflection defines the role of social workers and mentor of a child who is a slow learners as compared to other children
● Gibbs model is the most appropriate technique supports apprentices accomplishing an advanced believed method (Tawanwongsri & Phenwan, 2019)
Today, I am going to extend the introduction about critical thinking and self-reflection in accordance with Gibbs' reflective models point of view. In order to understand the importance of critical thinking and self-reflection is to know the role of coaches and social workers in the development of mental health conditions of a child.

● Social mental health professionals frequently deal with a high caseload, a difficult task, and few resources (Sahu, 2020)
● People lost their jobs and students were not able to continue their further education during the pandemic
● Some reasons of workers mental health are high job demand, job insecurity, impermanent employment position, bullying, and many more (Gray et al. 2019)
Now in this slide, I have observed that mental health social workers undertake in-depth evaluations of people's psychosocial needs and mental health. To create effective intervention strategies, they assess the strengths, problems, and support networks of their clients. I also noticed that students who are disabled face many difficulties and challenges during their higher education by being bullied by their classmates. On the other hand, in order to identify the various aspects of mental health issues, understanding the significant importance of communication and emotional intelligence is essential. Furthermore, I have observed that a patient and compassionate attitude is necessary while teaching a slow learner. Recognize that every child learns differently and may need more time to fully understand subjects.
● As a mental healthcare social worker, I face many challenges during providing training to the child related to their study (Greenberg et al. 2020)
● Fulfilling all workers demands is also very challenging and for which I have to provide more effort and energy
● Motivation and engagement is another issues that I have faced
A mental health social worker has to face difficulties during motivation to mentally ill students or children who can create difficulties for themselves and their study. Motivation and engagement is another issues that I have faced as Slow learners may have trouble staying motivated and engaged, especially when faced with challenges or when progress seems to be taking a long time.
● Motivating and guiding strategy can help to develop a better relationship to understand and resolve employees mental health issues.
● The suitable strategies applications rise workers mental comfort, gratification, efficiency, and mental health safety through their HRM (Azizi et al. 2021)
● A good coach can help students in mitigating their difficulties and family-related issues through communicating and understanding.
Now in this slide, I have identified that mental health social workers provide information, counselling, and support to people and families who are struggling with mental health issues. They educate clients about accessible resources, available treatments, and community support services so they can choose their mental health care in an informed manner. Moreover, a better coach helps their students in resolving their family issues to be focused on their higher education and that is applicable by better communicating among themselves. This self-reflective assignment helped me understand various aspects of the different methods used during mental health training. For teaching to be successful, developing a good rapport with the student is essential. I have also observed that spend some time developing a helpful and trustworthy friendship. Adequately take an interest in their development, listen intently, and offer a secure environment where they can voice any worries or queries.
● Communication helps to develop relationships that help to open better conversations to enhance the productivity of mental health remedies (Pham, 2022).
● Emotional intelligence plays a vital role to connect with others and allows for listening skills (Santilli, 2022)
● Cognitive behavioral theory helps to enhance the thinking process to reduce stress (Nakao et al., 2021)
Now in this slide I aim to show many methods that can help to control mental health issues. I have learned this method with the help of my own terrible experiences such as rifts in family and friends that have impacted my life and helped to develop me as a mental health coach. I have observed that as a result of their frustration, low self-esteem, or troubles keeping up with their friends, slow learners may struggle with emotional and behavioural issues. Therefore, mentors needs to establish a safe, appropriate environment that meets the child's emotional needs and promotes confidence in them. Along with that emotional intelligence is a crucial component that helps to enhance the listening process. In my opinion. Communication, EL, and Cognitive-behavioural skills have helped me develop my mental health mentor process. Along with that, these skills also helped me to provide a better remedy process for my patients.
Therefore this reflective assignment also helped me to figure out different difficulties that can arise while working as a mental health mentor and coach. Furthermore, this reflective assignment also provides me with information about the significant importance of cognitive behavior theory in order to help others during the coaching process. Additionally, I also acquired various coaching methods and skills for my mentoring process throughout the evaluation process of this reflective assignment.
● Understanding the ins and outs of a mental health coach is extremely tough
● Communication skills and emotional intelligence helps to understand different aspect of mental health issues
● Emotional intelligence plays a vital role in understanding emotions and feelings (Whitener, 2022).
● As stated by Connor et al. (2019) emotional intelligence is essential to enhance the productivity of work as well as it is also crucial to building effective relationships.
In this slide I am going to discuss my journey to a mental health mentor. Understanding several facets of mental health remedy production was very complex. I was not able to connect with my patients in the early days. However, both communication skills and Emotional intelligence skills helped me to develop my mental skills and allow me to connect with my patients. EL allows us to understand diverse emotions and feelings.
● I will ask my patients to describe their situation of families
● I will empower my emotional intelligence skills
● I will ask their family to take care of patients to enhance mental health issues
Now in this slide I am aiming to draw your attention by providing an action plan. If I get another chance to be a mentor of mental health I will first know the condition of patients' families as it can help me understand their core problems. Moreover, I will pay attention to developing my Emotional intelligence skills as it can allow me to have more empathy toward patients. In addition, I will advise the patient's family to take care of his or her mental health situation as the family is closest to any patient.
● My personal experiences has helped to develop my mental health coach skills
● Gibbs model has played a vital role in defining action plan
● I will keep helping diverse mental health patients to enhance their life and my skills
My personal experiences have helped me develop my mental health coachs skills. Along with that Gibbs's reflective model also helps to develop better action plans that can help my students and patients. In addition, my personal experiences help me develop my skills in mental health. I have observed that how a slow learner can improve their skills and competencies along with challenges they are facing. In conclusion, throughout this whole critical thinking and self-reflective assignment process I build several effective and essential skills that are required as a mental health coach or mentor, in order to help my patient and students. In addition, different theories and reflective models used during the process also helped me to understand the various aspects of the mental health issues as well as the different situations of individuals during the coaching process. Overall, with the use of various analysis and evaluation processes, the following assignment helped me to acquire the required knowledge and pieces of information as a mental health coach or mentor.
